9 October 2009, Brussels: As part of the Public Consultation process of the Committee, Broadband Forum makes a proposal regarding the main directions of the Post i2010 strategy under construction.

27 October 2009: Broadband Forum workshop

26-27 November 2009, Budapest: Broadband Forum International Workshop. Topics: Mapping Broadband Infrastructure in EU, Broadband Forum. The 2-day workshop is an exclusive event; the 1^st day is attended by members of the consortium and representatives of the DG INFSO, reviewing the preparedness status the European Broadband Search database / map. On the 2^nd day the leaders of DG INFSO responsible for the Post i2010 strategy, the representative of the European Broadband Portal and members of the Broadband Forum will have consultations on the common directions of the strategy in progress.

19-20 November 2009, Malmo: 5th Ministerial Conference on EGovernment and Information Society: The highlighted topic of the event is to determine the main directions of the Post i2010 strategy under construction. Attendance to the event is subject to invitations; Broadband Forum has been invited, including the opportunity to hold a short, 10-minute-long presentation.
